End of the Year Fatigue
Dec. 4th, 2023 02:30 pmKinda just feeling out of it. The weeks between fall break and winter break is always a weird period, it's when I just completely lose all motivation, yet finals are almost right upon me. Blergh.
So yeah, I'm back in Arknights and Tears of Themis to take the edge off. Probably not the best idea to deal with end of the year fatigue but oh well. Not really sure how long I'll be playing both. Ideally, I want to stick around in ToT long enough for Marius's 3rd anniversary card, because oh wow the art is gorgeous, but at the same time, the thought of having to get multiple cards for Marius's card makes me a little tired. Why do these games always end up going that way?
As for Arknights, I picked it up again because I was in the mood with the anime airing, but I don't think I have the commitment to play it for a longer period. There's too much screentime so I keep getting bored of waiting around. I wish they would allow an outright skip instead of the double speed auto battles. I also looked at Arknights's spinoff game, supposedly an open world game, which appeals to me, but the character designs kind of.... don't appeal to me the way Arknights' character designs does? Can't place a finger on what's off about them, but it's kind of disappointing.
